                                                    THE FOUNDER

Radhika's love for the arts dawned at a young age when she  was encouraged to pursue sketching and music. Trained in Indian Classical Music, she developed a fondness for expressing herself and honing a craft. Equipped with a business degree, she successfully applied to The Parsons School of Design, New York,to study apparel design. Radhika was inspired and found herself immersed in the cultural and artistic diversity of the Big Apple.
She further gained valuable experience in her field working as par of the design teams at Coach, Kenneth Cole and Club Monaco. In her last stint, prior to Radical, she was a part of the founding team which globally launched the "Reed Krakoff" luxury brand.
Upon returning to India, she found a large section of Indian Crafts dying as India turned to modernization and fast fashion replaced slow fashion. Many of these artisans were poorly paid and turned to menial jobs away from homes to provide
for their families. With a thirst to revive these art forms, and armed with technical knowledge of making styles that are relevant and desirable, Radical was born.
